Hip Hop or Hip Replacement?

I have been an Aerobics Instructor for 16 wonderful years. Yes, as you can tell - I love it! But, from time to time I get bored with my routine and look for something fresh. I found it! A hip-hop routine to burn inches through its cardio moves! I mentioned this to my elderly mother and she said hip-hop? Is that where you pull your hip out of joint? W - e - l - l, Mom not exactly! But, some of the ladies in my class would certainly agree with you after yesterday! We looked more like chickens dancing in the barnyard than the guys and they-probably-haven't-eaten in months girls we saw on the DVD. We just haven't quite gotten it down yet, oh yes! we're getting down! Just not like we are supposed to! But, we WILL get it,we got it after the first session - sore hips, sore thighs, aching arms, but hopefully we will ALSO get the thrill of LOST inches. I always say when we hurt, that is great! That means our body is changing and I grin! They look at my she-loves-this-stuff face and grimace. If we don't lose our cool, and yesterday two "regulars" didn't show up due to the "new" agenda, we WILL see some results! See you later, gotta go hip-hoppin!
